The two of them couldn’t be any more different, but there’s something between them that they just can’t deny or ignore. Weber is a former rodeo rider who is currently drifting around between jobs, Cyrus is a rich neurosurgeon who has a stable career and life. It makes for an annoying read, though I imagine that this graphic novel format has cut out a lot of his internal monologue. He’s also the POV character for the whole book. It’s just that Weber annoys the hell out of me, which is unfourtunate as he is one of the main characters. The thing about this one is that I do like the story well enough. “Did you ever think that the only thing you’re supposed to do is just love me?”
